Accept Försäkringsaktiebolag (publ) becomes a part of the Rieber & Søns portfolio.
On November 20th, 2024, Rieber & Søn completed the acquisition of all shares in Accept Försäkringsaktiebolag (publ) («Accept») following a successful ownership suitability assesment, in which approval was granted by Finansinspektionen on October 24th.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Accept has been a pioneer in the Swedish insurance market since its establishment in 1998. The company was the first to offer income protection insurance and has continued to pursue its vision of providing products that complement public insurance offerings. Today, Accept delivers niche-tailored and web-based insurance solutions.
Through this acquisition, Rieber & Søn establishes a presence in the Swedish specialty insurance market. The company looks forward to collaborating with Accept’s management to maintain its strong financial foundation, outstanding customer service, and high customer loyalty.
Following the transaction, Brede Selseng and Trond Valvik from Rieber & Søn will join Accept’s board of directors. Both bring extensive experience from the finance and insurance sectors and will contribute to further strengthening Accept’s market position.
