Atlantis Vest is investing in and bringing together Mediateket, Video 4, and AVIT-Systems into a new and exciting group

In 2015, Mediateket AS, AVIT-Systems A/S, and Video 4 AS had combined revenue of nearly 300 million and will collectively employ 71 people in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This positions the companies to become a key international player for customers seeking service providers with substance and stability.

In addition to the acquisitions, the new group will be recapitalized with growth capital to support its further development. The current owners of Mediateket will also reinvest a significant portion of the sale proceeds into the new company. With this initiative, Atlantis Vest aims to establish a major Scandinavian provider capable of delivering forward-looking services and solutions on the international stage.

About Mediateket AS For nearly 16 years, Mediateket AS has been one of the leading forces in making modern TV and video production more efficient. Mediateket currently works with several major broadcasters, including NRK, SBS Discovery, TV 2, Telenor, and Canal Digital. In addition, about 20 production companies use Mediateket’s specially developed service platform, MediaHUB.net. Revenue in 2015 was NOK 40 million. Revenue in 2015 was 145 million NOK. The company has 38 employees spread across its headquarters in Copenhagen and regional offices in Aalborg, Denmark; Stavanger; and Stockholm.

The company offers consulting, system design, installation, and support, and counts Warner Bros. Television Production Studios, TV 2, Monster, and NRK among its clients. The company has 18 employees spread across its headquarters in Bergen and branch offices in Oslo, Trondheim, Stavanger, Hellerup in Denmark, and Stockholm in Sweden.
